《今日のFUP：1136》 開口一番 ─ かいこういちばん
「最初に彼女に会った時、何て言ったと思う。開口一番、お腹ぺこぺこ」 ─ Guess what she said when we first met. The first thing she said was “I’m starving.”
Guess what ～「～は何なのか当てて (推測して) みて」。The first thing she said was ～「彼女が最初に言ったことは～」。これで「開口一番～と言った」の意味に。The first thing out of her mouth「彼女の口から最初に出てきたこと」も使えます。starve「腹ぺこである」。
（例）「(質問されて) あまり考えずに適当に答えちゃった」─ I just said the first thing that came to mind.
・come to mind「思い浮かぶ」。
前回の復習
「あの二人は意気投合するような気がする」─ Something tells me those two will hit it off.
「何となく～だという気がする」─ Something tells me (that) ～
「うまが合う (意気投合する)」─ hit it off
「うまくやっていく」─ get along well
「最初はぎこちなかったけど、話していくうちに私たちは意気投合した」─We didn’t hit it off too well at the beginning, but as we got to talking, we found we got along quite well.
「僕たちは気が合う。同じスポーツファンだから」─ We get along well because we’re fellow sports fans.
Extra Bit：「彼らはめちゃくちゃ仲がいいね」─ Those two get along incredibly well, don't they?
