◎「~かしら」はI wonder if ~で表現します。future「将来性、未来」。
(63) This article mentions your company.
→この記事に君の会社のことが出てるよ。
◎This articleを主語にしている点に注目。この場合のmentionは「言及する、話に出す」の意味。
(64) Our company is in bad shape.
→うちの会社は経営状態がよくない。
◎「経営状態がよくない」はbe in bad shape、「経営状態がいい」はbe in good shapeで表現できます。
(65) I think it's time for a career change.
→そろそろ転職しようかな。
◎it's time for ~「~する時期である」。(例)It's time for a break.「休憩の時間だね」。career change「転職」。
(66) I hear that we're going to merge with that company.
→あの会社と合併するらしいわ。
◎「~らしい、~だそうだ」はI hear that ~で表現します。merge with ~「~と合併する」。
(67) To my knowledge, we haven't made any deals with that company.
→私の知る限りでは、あの会社と取引したことはありません。

◎suffer from ~「~に苦しむ」。「人材不足」はpersonnel shortageと言います。(例)power shortage「電力不足」。

→派遣社員を送ってくるらしい。
◎I hear ~は<b>(66)</b>参照。「~だそうだ」。(例)I hear they are getting married soon.「彼らはもうすぐ結婚するそうだ」。temp「派遣社員、臨時雇いの人(temporary)」。

→ここ数年、派遣社員として働いている。
◎この場合のtempは動詞で「派遣社員として働く」の意味。

◎主語に動名詞Hiring「雇うこと」、動詞にsave「(労力などを)節約する」を使っています。
(73) That company has adopted a flextime system.
→あの会社はフレックス制度を取り入れています。
◎adopt「採用する」。「フレックス制度」はflextime systemと言います。(例)Isn't your company on flextime yet?「君の会社はまだフレックス制じゃないの?」。

→消費者のニーズがますます多様化している。
◎increasingly「ますます、だんだん」、diverse「多様な、さまざまな」。(例)biodiversity「生物多様性」。
(75) The bad-debt problem is very deep-rooted.
→その不良債権問題はとても根深い。
◎bad-debt「不良債権の」、deep-rooted「根深い」。ハイフンに注意。(例)an education-minded mother「教育ママ」。

◎ledはleadの過去形。lead to ~で「~につながる」の意味。(例)Daily efforts lead to success.「日々の努力が成功につながる」。loss「損出」。

◎get downsizedで「リストラされる」を表現しています。downsizeの意味は「数を削減する」。

→そろそろ転勤のシーズンね。
◎job transfer season「転勤のシーズン」。この場合の前置詞uponは「~に向かって、~の方へ」の意味。

◎cope with ~「~をうまく処理する、~とうまくやっていく」。
