次の文を英訳すると？
1. あなた、甘い物は大丈夫だっけ？
2. 余り物なんだけど、これ、よかったら。
3. 今日が賞味期限なの。
4. 一人じゃ全部食べきれないから。

日本語の意味に合わせて英訳してみましょう。

【解説】
1.「甘い物」はsweets、あるいは、sweet thingsでいいでしょう。「大丈夫」はOKですね。最後にrightを付け足し、そこで軽くイントネーションを上げて、「だっ け？」のニュアンスを表しています。
2. この場合のbe welcome to ～は「～を自由に食べていい」の意味。not mind「気にしない」とleftovers「残り物、余り物」にも注目。help yourself を使って、These are just leftovers, but help yourself if you'd like.とも言えます。
3.「今日が賞味期限」はThe sell-by / eat-by / freshness date is today.でも表現できますが、ここではbe supposed to eat them by today「今日までに食べることになっている」を用いて表現していま す。この場合のsayは「～と書いてある」の意味。
4.「一人じゃ食べきれない」をneed some help finishing ～「食べ終えるのに助けが必要」と言い換えています。「賞味期限までに」をin timeで表現。There are too many of them for me to finish in time without help.でも同じような意味になります。
5. Throwing them away（動名詞）とa waste「浪費」の組み合わせがポイント。go to waste「無駄になる」を使って、次のように言ってもいいでしょう。I don't want to let them go to waste.
