【解説】
1. 動詞grayは「白髪になる」という意味。「白髪」はgray hairと言います。whiteではありません。（例）I've noticed more gray hairs lately.「最近、白髪が増えたな」。
2.「損失」はlossで表現します。Bad judgment on his part led to massive losses.でも同じような意味になります。
3.「ノーカット版」はuncut versionと言います。uncutは「ノーカットの、カットされていない」という意味の形容詞。
4. be surrounded「包囲されている」。There's no way out.「逃げ道はない」で「袋の鼠」を表現しています。You're like a rat in a trap.という言い方もあります。
5. 「針小棒大」とはmake a mountain out of a molehillは「小さなことを大きく騒ぎ立てる（もぐら塚から山を作る）」ということですね。
