「言い換え色々６」。色々な言い換え問題にトライしてみましょう。早速、実例をチェック！
1. Have I brought everything you ordered?
ご注文はすべてお揃いでしょうか？
⇨ Is this your ( c ) order?
2. It's hard for me to type on this tiny keyboard.
このキーボードは小さくて打ちにくい。
⇨ I'm having ( t ) typing on this small keyboard.
《解説》
1.「注文したものをすべて持ってきましたか？」→「これで注文したもの全て(complete order) ですか？」。complete「完全な」の使い方に注目。(例) That action movie starring him was a complete flop.「彼が主演したあのアクション映画は完全な失敗作だった」。
2. hard「難しい」をhave trouble ～ing「～するのに苦労する」で言い換えています。(例) I always have trouble waking up.「寝起きが悪い」。

《解答・解説》
3. Give ～ high marks「～に高い評価を与える」→ be well appreciated among ～「～の間で高く評価される」。senior co-workers「上司、先輩」。(例) Your prompt reply is very much appreciated.「早々に御返事いただきましてありがとうございます」。この場合のappreciateは「感謝する」という意味。
4. You can't lose anything by trying.「試みても失うものは何もない」→「当たって砕けろ」→ Nothing ventured, nothing gained.「思い切ってやってみなければ、何も得られない」。(例) As long as they're asking for too much anyway, why not give it a shot?「所詮、無理な話なんだから、当って砕けろだ」。
5. near the airport「空港に近い」→ with easy airport access「空港へのアクセスがいい (簡単)」。accessの使い方がポイント。(例) I got access to the website and checked it out.「そのウェブサイトにアクセスして、調べた」。
