Part 13：命令文で言い換える２
「命令文で言い換える」。今回はその２。Don’tを使う！まずは実例をチェック！
1. I don't know why.
なぜかわからない。
⇨ Don't ask me why.
2. You should know what I mean.
言わなくてもわかるだろう。
⇨ Don't make me say it.
《解説》
1. I don't know why.「なぜかわからない」をDon't ask me why.「なぜか聞かないで」と言い換えています。
2. わかっているはず (should know what I mean) なので、Don’t make me say it.「それを言わせないでくれ」と念を押しています。

《解答・解説》
3. include：include「入れる、含める」。「それには関係がない (have nothing to do with that)」のですから・・・Don't include me in that.「それに巻き込まないでくれ」。
4. tell：Don't tell anybody.「誰にも言わないで」。なぜなら、We can’t let this news leave this room「この知らせをこの部屋から外に出せない (文字通りの意味)」からですね。
5. withdraw：withdraw「閉じこもる、引きこもる」。need to break out of one’s shell「自分の殻を破る必要がある」をDon't withdraw into your shell.「自分の殻に閉じこもるな」と言い換えています。
