《今日のFUP：1218》 独断専行 ─ どくだんせんこう
「我が社の社長はワンマンで、何事も独断専行で進める」─ The president of our company is an autocrat who decides things all by himself and carry them out.
autocrat「ワンマン (専制君主）」。この文脈でone man は使えません。dictator「独裁者」やtop-down kind of guyと言ってもいいでしょう。 top-down「上意下達の」。decide ～ all by oneself「自分だけで～を決める」とcarry ～ out「～を実行する」で「独断専行」を表現しています。
（例）「奴らに好き勝手はさせない」─ We won’t let them have their own way.
・have one’s own way「好き勝手にする」。

「そんな考え方をしてるなんて、時代錯誤もいいところだ」─ That kind of thinking is a perfect example of an anachronism.
「時代錯誤」─ anachronism「アナクロニズム」
「完璧な例 (いいところだ)」─ a perfect example
「君の考え方は時代錯誤もはなはだしい」─ Your way of thinking is a pure anachronism.
「単なる、まったくの」─ pure
「こんなふうに思う私は、考え方が古いのかもしれない」─ Maybe I’m just old-fashioned, thinking this way.
Extra Bit：「その古くさい冗談は面白くないよ」─ That old joke is wearing very thin.
