《今日のFUP：1032》 自問自答 ─ じもんじとう
「人生一度しかないのに、このままで本当にいいのかな、と自問自答することがある」 ─ I sometimes ask myself if it’s really OK to go on living this way knowing that you only live once.
ask oneself if ～「～かどうかを自分自身に聞く」で「～を自問自答する」の意味に。go on ～ ing「～し続ける」。文末にknowing ～「人生一度しかないとわかっていながら」を付け足している点に注目。knowing that you only have one life to liveとも言えます。
(例)「何のために生きているのか？自問自答したことがありますか？」─ What am I living for? Have you ever asked yourself that question?
・What ～ for？「何のために～？」。

「次世代のスマートフォンにみんな興味津々」─ Everyone is eager to know more about the next generation of smartphones. / Everyone is dying to find out more about the next generation of smartphones.
「～についてしきりにもっと知りたがる (興味津々)」─ be eager to know more about ～
「～したくてたまらない」─ be dying to ～
「見つけ出す」─ find out
「オンラインゲームに彼は全く興味がない」─ Online games don’t interest him at all.
Extra Bit：「同じような興味を持っていると会話がはずむ」─ Having similar interests makes conversation livelier.
