今週の復習です。英語の筋トレに使用した英文を音声を聞きながら再度チェックしましょう。音読も忘れずに!

I hope she's better than the last one.

I wish you would get to the point.

1. A: How would you like your steak done?
B: Medium rare, please -- but not too rare.

B: Any time is OK after nine.



3. A: You ought to meet Grace Brown.
B: Who's that? I've never heard of her.

今日のワンポイント

木曜日《文法》に出てきたmust've ~を使った例文をいくつか挙げておきましょう。

I must've slept wrong.
→寝違えたに違いない。
They must've been tired.
→きっと彼らは疲れてたんだよ。
He must've put on some weight.
→彼は少し太ったに違いないよ。
She must've misunderstood what you said.
→彼女は君の言ったことを誤解したに違いない。
The election mus'tve been rigged somehow.
→その選挙には何か不正があったに違いない。
