《今日のイディオム》have nothing to do with
「その件には関わっていません」─ I have nothing to do with that matter.
have nothing to do with ～で「～とは関係がない」、have something to do with ～で「～と関係がある」という意味になります。否定文や疑問文ではhave anything to do with ～を使います。それぞれ例文を挙げておきましょう。Sorry, but that problem has nothing to do with me.「悪いけど、その問題は僕には関係がないんだ」、Crime usually has something to do with money.「犯罪はたいてい金がらみだよね」、Does your visit have anything to do with business?「仕事でいらしたんですか？」。
