《今日のイディオム》get around to
「まだ手をつけていないんです」─ I still haven't got around to it.
get around to ～「～に取りかかる」で「手をつける」を表現（第361回参照）。I never managed to get around to it.と言えば、「それに取りかかる時間が取れなかったんです」という意味になります。さらに、例文を二つ。When are you going to get around to it?「いつになったらやってくれるの？」、Did he get around to calling you about the meeting?「会議について、彼から電話があった？」。
