《今日のイディオム》come down with
「風邪の引きはじめじゃないの？」─ Are you coming down with a cold or something?
「（風邪などの）病気にかかる」はcome down with ～で表現できます。I might be coming down with a cold. My nose is running.「風邪の引きはじめかもしれない。鼻水が止まらない」。この言い回しも覚えておきましょう。さらに例文を二つ。I came down with a bad cold last week.「先週、ひどい風邪を引いた」、Lots of people come down with colds when the seasons are changing.「季節の変わり目に風邪を引く人が多い」。
