【解説】
1. almost「もう少しで～する」と in tears「泣いて」を組み合わせて「泣きそう」を表現。（例）She was so happy she nearly cried.「彼女は嬉しくて泣きそうになった」。
2. stop the tears「涙を止める」。（例）His story was so sad I couldn't help weeping for him.「彼の話があまりに悲しいので、もらい泣きした」。
3. be easily moved to tearsの文字通りの意味は「すぐに感動して涙を流す」。（例）He was moved to tears by the woman's story.「その女性の話を聞いて、彼は感動して涙を流した」。
4. weep tears of joy「嬉し涙を流す」。（例）She wept tears of joy as they awarded her the gold medal.「彼女は金メダルを受賞して、嬉し涙を流した」。
5. 動詞waterには「涙が出る」という意味があります。（例）It's making my mouth water.「よだれが出てきた」。
