be tired of ～「～に飽きる、嫌になる」。get behind the wheelで「運転する（運転席に座る）」という意味。go to driving school「自動車教習所へ行く」。driving schoolの前に冠詞は必要はありません。confidence「自信」。on-the-roadは「路上の」という意味の形容詞。
