次の文を英訳すると？
1. 早とちりしないでくれよ。
2. 彼女とはランチを食べに行っただけなんだから。

日本語の意味に合わせて英訳してみましょう。

2. All I did was ～が「～しただけじゃないか」にぴったりの言い回しです。本来ならば、～ was to go out to lunch with herと言うべきですが、会話では不定詞のtoを落とす場合がよくあります。
3. Spreading rumors「うわさを広めること」と動名詞にしているところがポイントですね。ここでは「変な」は敢えて出さなくてもいいでしょう。「困る」をhardly fair「とてもフェア（公平）とは言えない」で表現している点にも注意してください。
4. have a crush on ～ は「（一時的に）～にのぼせる、熱を上げる」の意味。また、don't you?で「じゃないの」という感じを出しています。I think you've got her on your mind.「彼女のことが気になってるんだな」のように も言えます。
5. Why else「他にどういう理由があるのか」を使い、would you ～と仮定法を続ける。なかなか出てこない言い回しです。出だしをOtherwise, why would you ～のように言い換えることも可能です。
