◇そっちの天気どう？◇
A: How's the weather on your side of the country?
B: It's raining, believe it or not.
A: Rain in summer, in California? You're kidding.
B: Well, right now it's sort of ... misting.
【和訳】
A: そっちの天気はどう？
B: 雨が降ってる。信じないかもしれないけど。
A: カリフォルニアで雨？ 嘘でしょ。
B: あの、今は、何て言うか、霧雨みたいだけど。

【解説】
How'sはHow isの短縮形。on your sideで「そっち」を表現。believe it or notの文字通りの意味は「信じようと信じまいと」。kid「からかう、冗談を言う」。sort ofは副詞で「多少、ちょっと」の意味。「霧雨が降る」は動詞mistで表現します。
