ロールプレイしましょう。

A: That was an interesting lecture.
B: You understood it?
A: Most of it. How about you?
B: I didn't get anything the professor said.

【和訳】
A: 面白い講義だったね。
B: 理解できたの？
A: 大体ね。君は？
B: 教授が言ったこと何にもわからなかったよ。

【解説】
interestingは「興味深い面白さ」、「滑稽な面白さ」はfunnyで表現します。most of ～「～のほとんど」。「～はどう？」と聞く場合はHow about ～?を使います。この場合のgetは「わかる、理解する」。

《例文》
1. Nothing interesting is happening lately.
→最近は面白い事がないよね。
2. That was a joke? I don't get it. What's so funny?
→それって冗談だったの。わからないよ。何がそんなに面白いの？
3. Most of the old-growth forests were logged a long time ago.
→原生林のほとんどがずっと前に伐採されてしまった。
4. How about having some broiled eel to shake the summer blahs?
→夏ばて解消に、ウナギの蒲焼きでも食べようか？
5. That's the kind of rig they use for that. Now I get it.
→あんな所にああいう仕掛けがあるんだ。なるほどね。

【音読アドバイス】
A: That, interesting, lectureにストレスを置きます。
B: understood it「アンダーストゥディッt？」でイントネーションを上げます。
A: Most of it.「モゥストビッt」でイントネーションを下げ、How about you?「ハゥアバゥチュ」で一旦上げてから軽く下げます。
B: anythingとsaidを特に強調しましょう。
