昇進おめでとう！素晴らしい知らせに喜んでいます。広告ディレクターの仕事は君にぴったり。君のリーダーシップと適切な判断力があれば、成功間違いなし。

これで一緒に仕事をする機会がもっと増えるので、それも楽しみです。本当におめでとう。

Subject: Promotion

Dear Linda,

Congratulations on your promotion! It was wonderful to hear the news. I am certain that you will be perfect for the job of advertising director. With your leadership skills and fine judgment you are sure to be a success.

I am also glad that this means we will be working together more often. Congratulations again and best wishes.

【解説】
Congratulationsの後に使う前置詞はonですね。I am certain that ～で「きっと～だと思う」の意味。be perfect for ～「～にぴったり、うってつけ」。「～があれば」をWith ～で表現しています。be sure to ～「必ず～する」、success「成功者」。this means ～の文字通りの意味は「これは～を意味する」。締めくくりの言葉、Congratulations again and best wishes.もこの機会に覚えておきましょう。

→騙されたと思ってやってごらん。必ずうまくいくから。
Our candidate is sure to be elected.
→我々の候補は当選確実だ。

→今回の参議院選挙で、彼は当選確実だそうだ。
