▷have no sense of direction「方向の感覚を持っていない」で「方向音痴」を表現。He has no sense of taste.は「味音痴」、 He has no sense of rhythm.は「リズム感がない」の意味。

11. I hate being in closed spaces.


▷文字通りの意味は「密閉された空間にいるのが嫌だ」。claustrophobia「閉所恐怖症」を使って、I have claustrophobia.とも言えます。acrophobia「高所恐怖症」、I’m afraid of heights.「高所恐怖症なんです」も覚えておきましょう。

12. I can't stay long.


▷stay long「長く滞在する」で「長居する」の意味に。次の言い回しも覚えておくといいでしょう。I’ve stayed longer than I should. I'll be going now.「随分と長居をしてしまいました。このへんで失礼します」。
