《今日のFUP：1239》 議論百出 ─ ぎろんひゃくしゅつ
「その問題に関しては、いまだに議論百出で、完全な結論が出ていない」─ There are so many competing theories about the issue that it's hard to imagine that any of them are definitive.
ここではThere are so many competing theories about ～「～に関しては対抗し合う理論が多くある」で「議論百出」を表現しています。definitiveの意味は「決定的な」。次の言い回しも覚えておきましょう。「このまま続けていても結論が出そうにない」─ We'll never reach a conclusion if we carry on this way.
（例）「決定をする前に、彼らは賛成意見と反対意見を慎重に検討した」─ They weighed the pros and cons before making a decision.
・weigh「比較、検討する」、pros and cons「賛否両論」。

「忙しいってことは商売繁盛ってことだよね」─ Being busy means business is booming, doesn't it?
「忙しいこと」─ being busy
「商売繁盛」─ Business is good. / Business is booming.「とても景気がいい」
「商売繁盛を祈願した」─ I prayed for flourishing business.
「君の商売はうまくいっているようだね」─ Your business seems to be doing well.
Extra Bit：「店が繁盛してるのはいいけれど、忙しくて猫の手も借りたいほどだ」─ It's wonderful to have so much business coming into the store/restaurant. But I'm so busy it makes my head spin.
