《今日のFUP：1172》 勇往邁進 ─ ゆうおうまいしん
「不景気がなんだ。勇往邁進で行くぞ」 ─ Recession or not, we’re going full speed ahead.
recession or not「不景気だろうがなかろうが」。go full speed ahead「(目標に向かって) 脇目も振らずまっしぐらに突き進む」で「勇往邁進」を表現しています。ここで質問。「前進あるのみ」を英語で言うと・・・There’sで始めて・・・There’s nowhere to go but forward.
（例）「否定的に考えるのはやめて。目標に向かって一歩踏み出そう」─ Stop thinking negatively. Take one step toward your goal.
・negatively「否定的に、消極的に」。

「この業界では、薄利多売でなければやっていけない」─ Unless you go for high volume and low margin, you won’t last long in this business.
「もし～しなければ (if ～ not)」─ unless ～
「薄利多売を目指す」─ go for high volume and low margin
「大量 (販売)」─ high volume (of sales)
「薄利 (利益が少ないこと)」─ low margin
「長続きしない (やっていけない)」─ not last long
「あんなにサービスがよくて、どうやって利益を上げているのだろうか？」─ How can they make a profit, offering such excellent service?
Extra Bit：「安かろう悪かろうでは消費者は買ってくれない」─ Consumers won't go for cheap and dirty goods.
