《今日のFUP：1149》 阿鼻叫喚 ─ あびきょうかん
「飛行機が墜落した山村は阿鼻叫喚の巷と化した」 ─ The mountain village where the airplane went down was like a living hell.
go down「墜落する」。crashも使えます。be like a living hell「生き地獄のようである」。これで「阿鼻叫喚の巷と化す」を表現。The mountain village where the airplane crashed turned into an inferno.とも言えます。inferno「地獄 (のような所)」。
（例）「やっと受験地獄から抜け出せた」─ I’m finally through with the so-called entrance exam hell.
・be through with ～「～を終える」、so-called「いわゆる」。
前回の復習
「この書類には門外不出にすべき極秘情報が含まれている」─ This document contains the kind of top-secret information that should never see the light of the day.
「含む」─ contain
「極秘の、最高機密の」─ top-secret
「日の目を見ない (外には出さない) / 門外不出」─ never see the light of the day
「表に出さない」─ never get out in the open
「取り扱いにはくれぐれも気をつけるように」─ Be extra careful how you handle it.
「秘密を漏らしたのは誰だ？」─ Who spilled the beans?
Extra Bit：「ここだけの話だからね。言っちゃだめだよ」─ This is between you and me. Don't let it out.
