《今日のFUP：1128》 流言蜚語 ─ りゅうげんひご
「そんな流言蜚語を真に受けちゃだめだよ。ネットで調べたら、すぐにがせねただってわかる」 ─ Don’t take that groundless rumor seriously. Look it up on the Net, and you’ll see it’s false information.
take ～ seriously「～を真剣に受け止める」。groundless rumor「根拠のない噂」で「流言蜚語」を表現。look ～ up「～を調べる」、false information「偽の情報」。「妙な噂が広まっている」はSome strange rumor is going around.と言います。お覚えてきましょう。
（例）「君が言ってた通りだね！あの噂は嘘だった」─ It’s just like you said! The rumor turned out to be untrue.
・turn out to ～「～であるとわかる」。
前回の復習
「資金を求めて東奔西走し、やっとのことで調達した」─ We ran all over the place looking for funding, and finally got it.
「そこら中を走り回る (東奔西走する)」─ run all over the place
「走り回って考えられるあらゆる所へ行く」─ run around to every conceivable place
「資金を探し求めながら」─ looking for funding
「やっと、ようやく」─ finally / in the end (～ and got it in the end)
「今週は忙しかった。東奔西走してたから」─ This has been a busy week. I’ve been constantly on the move.
Extra Bit：「新しい市場を開拓するために最近は東奔西走してきた」─ Lately I've been on the move to find a new market.
