《今日のFUP：1084》 金科玉条 ─ きんかぎょくじょう
「売り上げ目標達成！従業員全員がそれを金科玉条としている」 ─ Achieving the sales goal! All the employees take it as a golden rule.
achieve「達成する、成し遂げる」、employee「従業員、社員」。take ～ as a golden ruleで「～を黄金律（金科玉条）とする」という意味になります。take ～ as gospel「絶対的に真実とする」とも言えます。takeの代わりにtreat「扱う」も使用可能。
(例)「その規則に従わなくてもいい。絶対的なものではないから」─ You don’t have to follow that rule. It’s not carved in stone.
・be not carved in stone「変えられないわけではない (石に刻まれていない)」。

「上からの鶴の一声で、急転直下、その懸案事項は解決した」─ A word from the top suddenly settled the pending issue.
「突然 (急転直下)」suddenly
「上からの (鶴の) 一声、一言」─ a word from the top
「解決する」─ settle / solve
「懸案事項、未解決の問題」─ pending issue
「時効直前、急転直下、殺人容疑者が逮捕された」─ A murder suspect was suddenly arrested just before the statute of limitations ran out.
Extra Bit：「突然、攻守が入れ替わった」─ Suddenly the tables were turned between offense and defense.
