《今日のFUP：1034》 一攫千金 ─ いっかくせんきん
「一攫千金を狙って、宝くじをまとめ買いした」 ─ I bought lottery tickets in bulk, hoping to strike it rich.
buy ～ in bulkが「～を大量購入する、一括購入する」に当たる言い回し。hoping to ～「～することを期待して」とstrike it rich「一山当てる」を組み合わせて、「一攫千金を狙う」を表現しています。
(例)「宝くじで一攫千金を狙うしか他に道はない」─ There's nothing I can do now but hope for easy money with a big lottery win.
・easy money「あぶく銭」、big lottery win「宝くじで大当たり」。

「彼が嘘をついていたのは一目瞭然だった」─ It was as plain as day that he was lying.
「一目瞭然 (明白である)」─ be (as) plain as day / be (as) plain as the nose on one’s face
「インフルエンザにかかったんだ。絶対にそうだよ」─ I can tell you’ve got the flu. It’s as plain as the nose on your face.
「君の分析は見当違いだ。それは誰の目にも一目瞭然」─ Your analysis is off the mark. That’s plain to anyone.
Extra Bit：「見るからに甘そうだね」─ It’s obvious that it's sweet.
