《今日のFUP：1027》 花鳥風月 ─ かちょうふうげつ
「夫の趣味は花鳥風月の写真撮影です」 ─ My husband’s hobby is taking photos of beautiful landscapes in natural settings.
take a photo of ～「～の写真を撮る」。「花鳥風月」をbeautiful landscapes in natural settings「美しい自然の風景」で表現。the beauties of natureとも言えます。taking photos ofの代わりにpaintingを使うと「花鳥風月を描くこと」の意味に。
(例)「美しい風景画 (花鳥風月) を見ていると心がなごむ」─ Looking at paintings of beautiful landscapes puts me at ease.
・put ～ at ease「～をほっとさせる」。
前回の復習
「どこへ行くにも、何をするにも、彼らはいつも一緒。一心同体だね」─ No mater where they go or what they do, they’re always together. It’s like they’re joined at the hip.
「たとえどこへ～でも」─ No matter where ～、「たとえ何～でも」─ no matter what ～ → Wherever they go or whatever they do
「まるで腰と腰がくっついているようだ (一心同体)」─ It’s like they’re joined at the hip.
「我々は一心同体。これからも一丸となって頑張ろう！」─ We’re all in this together. Let’s do our best and work as a team!
Extra Bit：「人間と自然の間には切っても切れない繋がりがある」─ There is an inseparable link between human beings and nature.
