「このスープ少し味が薄いよね。塩を入れようか」─ This soup is a little bland. Maybe it needs salt.
blandは「さっぱりしている、味が薄い」の意味。This soup doesn't have much flavor. Should I put some salt in?とも言えます。not have much flavorの意味は「味があまりない」。
（例）「このシチューの味は強烈だね」─ The flavor of this stew is overpowering.
前回の復習
「人のことなど構っていられない。自分のことで精一杯なんだから」─ I don't have time to worry about other people. I have enough trouble taking care of myself. / I can't bother with other people's problems. I have a hard enough time taking care of my own.
