《今日のFUP：841》暑かったり寒かったり
「暑かったり寒かったり、毎日着る服を決めるのが難しい」─ I can't decide what to wear when the temperature highs and lows are so extreme.
temperature highs and lows「温度の高低」とextreme「極端である」を組み合わせて「暑かったり寒かったり」を表現しています。variations「変化」を使って、次のように言ってもいいでしょう。It's hard to decide what to wear when there are so many temperature variations.
（例）「天気予報では、今日の最高気温は何度になるって言ってた？」─ Did the weather report say what the high was going to be today?

「彼は血のにじむような努力をして、その試験に合格した」─ He worked so hard that he was just about sweating blood, and passed the exam. / He worked so hard to pass the exam that he just about sweated blood.
「頑張る」─ work hard
「血の汗を流す（懸命に努力する）」─ sweat blood
「多くの血と汗と涙の結果がこのプロジェトなんだ」─ A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this project.
Extra Bit：「僕たちのバンドがしている努力は報われるのだろうか？」─ I wonder if our band's efforts are ever going to pay off.
