「ワイシャツのボタンが取れちゃったから、付けておいてくれる？」─ A button came off this shirt. Could you sew it back on?
「取れる、はずれる」はcome offで表現します。tear off「もぎ取る」を使って、I tore a button off this shirt. Would you sew it back on for me?とも言えます。sew ～ back on「元の位置に～を縫い付ける」。
（例）「シャツの染みを擦って洗ったが、落ちなかった」─ I scrubbed the stain on the shirt, but it didn't come off.

「彼の言うことなんて聞き流してればいいんだよ」─ Whatever he says, you can just let it go in one ear and out the other. / You don't have to take what he says seriously.
「右の耳から入って左の耳から出る（聞き流す）」─ go in one ear and out the other
「～を深刻に受け止める」─ take ～ seriously
「彼女に何を言っても無駄だよ」─ Everything you say to her goes in one ear and out the other.
