「こんな所にいては、いつまでたっても埒が明かない」─ We'll never accomplish anything as long as we stay here.
「埒が明かない」をnever accomplish anything「何も成し遂げられない」で表現している点に注目。never get anywhere「どうにもならない」を使ってもいいでしょう。As long as we stay here, we're never going to get anywhere.
（例）「先に延ばしていたら、どうにもならない」─ You'll get nowhere if you procrastinate.

「安くて、うまくて、居心地がいい店が繁盛する」─ A restaurant that's cheap, tasty, and has a good feel to it will always do good business. / Restaurants that are cheap, tasty, and easy to be in always do a thriving business.

「繁盛している」─ thriving
