「彼はこの会社で今でも語り草になっている」─ He is still a legendary figure in this company.
「語り草」をa legendary figure「伝説的人物」で言い換えています。tell stories about ～「～について語る」を使って、People in this company still tell stories about him.とも言えます。
（例）「近頃、このファション・デザイナーの話題で持ちきりです」─ This fashion designer is the talk of the town these days.
