《今日のFUP：651》済まされない
「すみませんでしたでは済まされない」─ It's not the kind of thing you can get out of just by saying sorry.
「済まされない」をnot ～ you can get out of「逃げられない」で表現。You can't make it go away just by saying sorry.とも言えます。can't make it go awayは「消せない、なくせない」という意味。
（例）「あいにく、その問題を消し去る方法はない」─ Unfortunately, there's no way to make the problem disappear.

「誰かが困っていも知らんぷりする人が多い」─ When somebody is in trouble, a lot of people will just pretend not to notice. / People tend to ignore somebody who's in trouble.
「気付かない振りをする（知らんぷり）」─ pretend not to notice
「無視する」─ ignore
「私の言ったことは聞かなかったふりをしてほしい」─ I’d like you to pretend that you didn't hear what I said.
Extra Bit：「無視するだけでは問題は片付かない」─ You can't make a problem go away by ignoring it.
