「あんなに仲が良かったのに、喧嘩別れしちゃったんだって」─ They were getting along so well, but now I hear they had a fight and broke up.
have a fight and break upが「喧嘩別れする」に当たる言い回しです。split up in anger「怒って別れる」を使って次のようにも言えます。They seemed to have such a solid relationship, but now I hear they've split up in anger.
（例）「子供の頃、僕はよく喧嘩をした」─ I used to fight a lot when I was a boy.
