「これといった解決策がなく、手探り状態です」─ Without a clear solution, we're just groping in the dark.
grope in the darkで「暗闇の中で手探りする（暗中模索）」の意味になります。Weで始めて、We're just groping in the dark since we don't have a clear solution.とも言えます。This is not the time for that kind of talk. 「今はそんなことを言っている場合ではない」。この言い回しも覚えておきましょう。
（例）「すぐにでも解決方法を考えないと」─ We've got to come up with a solution fast.

「建設的な批判はいつでも歓迎します」─ Any constructive criticism is always welcome. / I always welcome constructive criticism.
「建設的な批判」─ constructive criticism
「厳しい批判」─ severe criticism
