「彼は苦手だな」─ I'm not comfortable around him.
be not comfortable around ～「～がいると居心地が悪い」で「苦手」を表現しています。I don't know how to deal with him.とも言えます。how to deal with ～の意味は「～の扱い方」。
（例）「辛い食べ物は苦手です」─ I can't handle spicy foods.
前回の復習
「彼の説明を聞いていたら、訳がわからなくなった」─ Hearing his explanation, I couldn't make any sense out of it. / I listened to his explanation, unable to make heads or tails of it.
「～の意味を理解できなかった」─ couldn’t make any sense out of ～
「～が理解できない」─ unable to make heads or tails of ～
「訳のわからないことを言うのはやめてくれ」─ Stop talking nonsense.
Extra Bit：「それじゃごちゃごちゃじゃないか（訳がわからない）」It's all upside-down, inside-out and backwards.
