《今日のFUP：311》ころころ気が変わる
「彼女はころころ気が変わる」─ Her mind changes like the weather.
change like the weatherの文字通りの意味は「天気のように変わる」。形容詞fickle「気まぐれな」を使って、She’s just a very fickle person.とも言えます。moody「気分屋の」を使った次の言い回しも一緒に覚えておきましょう。He's as moody as the weather.「彼はお天気屋だ」。
（例）「彼はお天気屋だから付き合いにくい」─ He's so moody it makes him hard to get along with.

「風のせいで車にかけてあったシートがめくれていた」─ The car cover had rolled up in the wind. / The wind rolled up the sheet I'd used to cover the car.
「めくれる / まくり上げる」─ roll up
「さあ気合いを入れるぞ。仕事が山ほどある」─ It's time to roll up our sleeves. There's a lot of work piled up.
Extra Bit：「バンパーに付けたステッカーの角がまくれ上がっていた」─ The bumper sticker was curled back and peeling off at the corners.
