「そんなはったりは無意味だよ」─ A bluff like that is meaningless.
bluffは「はったり、こけおどし」にあたる名詞。That kind of bluff never works.「そんなはったりは通用しないよ」。この言い回しも一緒に覚えておきましょう。bluffは動詞とてしも使えます。
(例)「彼ははったりでピンチを切り抜けた」─ He bluffed his way out of a dangerous spot.

「彼はカメラ目線でインタビューに答えていた」─ He looked directly at the camera while answering the interviewer's questions. / He looked straight into the camera when answering interview questions.
「カメラを真っすぐ見る」─ look directly / straight at the camera
「カメラを見ないで。自然な姿を写しているんですから」─ Don't look into the camera, please. This is a candid shot.
