「彼はカメラ目線でインタビューに答えていた」─ He looked directly at the camera while answering the interviewer's questions.
look directly at the cameraの文字通りの意味は「カメラを真っすぐ見る」。directlyの代わりにstraightを使って、次のようにも言えます。He looked straight into the camera when answering interview questions.
（例）「カメラを見ないで。自然な姿を写しているんですから」─ Don't look into the camera, please. This is a candid shot.

「席を譲る」─ give up one’s seat
「前におばあさんが立ってるんだから」─ There's an elderly woman standing right in front of him.
