「この手の商品は口コミで広まるらしい」─ These goods are getting a lot of publicity by word of mouth.
by word of mouthが「口コミで」に当たる言い回し。publicityは「宣伝、広く知れ渡ること」という意味。Newsを主語にして次のようにも言えます。News of this product is traveling by word of mouth.
（例）「その出来事はあっという間に知れ渡った」─ Word of the incident spread fast.
前回の復習
「この案件に関しては、継続審議といたします」─ We will carry this agenda item over to the next session. / This issue will be carried over to the next session.
「次の会議に～を持ち越す（継続審議）」─ carry ～ over to the next session
「あの問題は後回しにしよう」─ Let's put that issue on the back burner.
Extra Bit：「野党議員は新しい法案の議決をボイコットした」─ Opposition lawmakers boycotted the vote passing the new bill into law.
