「この案件に関しては、継続審議といたします」─ We will carry this agenda item over to the next session.
「継続審議」とはcarry ～ over to the next session「次の会議に～を持ち越す」ということですね。This issueを主語にして次のように言ってもいいでしょう。This issue will be carried over to the next session.
（例）「あの問題は後回しにしよう」─ Let's put that issue on the back burner.
前回の復習
「与党も野党も同じようなものだ」─ The ruling and opposition parties are basically the same.
「与党」─ the ruling party
「野党（総称）」─ the opposition parties
「与党内で不協和音が生じている」─ Rumblings of dissent are appearing within the ruling party.
「野党の党首たちは妥協を拒んでいる」─ The opposition leaders are refusing to compromise.
「日本の将来はどうなるのだろうか」─ I have no idea what's going to happen to Japan.
Extra Bit：「野党議員は新しい法案の議決をボイコットした」─ Opposition lawmakers boycotted the vote passing the new bill into law.
