「彼らは決勝で負けて、悔し涙を流した」─ They shed bitter tears when they lost in the final.
shed bitter tears「苦い（つらい）涙を流す」で「悔し涙」を表現。weep bitterly「苦々しく泣く」を使って次のように言ってもいいでしょう。They wept bitterly after losing the championship.
（例）「彼女は金メダルを受賞して、嬉し涙を流した」─ She wept tears of joy as they awarded her the gold medal.

「背負い投げが彼の得意技だ」─ The shoulder throw is his speciality. / He specializes in the shoulder throw.
