今週の復習です。英語の筋トレに使用した英文を音声を聞きながら再度チェックしましょう。音読も忘れずに!

《音読176回》

今日のワンポイント

水曜日《作文》に出てきたI doubt ~を使った例文をいくつか挙げておきましょう。

I doubt that that judge was entirely disinterested.
→あの判事にまったく利害関係が無かったとは思えない。
They're a cute couple, but I doubt their marriage will last.
→彼らはいいカップルだけど、結婚が長続きするかどうか。
I forgot to charge the batteries, so I doubt they're going to last long.
→充電するの忘れたから、あまりもたないかも。
He hasn't got rhythm, so I doubt he'll make much of a percussionist.
→彼にはリズム感がないからね。打楽器はダメじゃないかな。
Starting off the week doing overtime. I doubt you'll keep that up for long.
→週の初めから残業では、一週間もたいかもよ。
