日常会話の中でよく用いられる例文をさらに五つ挙げてみます。

【リピーティング】
英文11～15をリピートしましょう。

11. Who's going to take on this job?
→誰がこの仕事引き受けるのかな？
12. Whose turn is it?
→次は誰の番？
13. Who was the last person to take a bath?
→最後にお風呂に入ったのは誰だったの？
14. Who walked the dog today?
→今日は誰が犬の散歩をしたの？
15. I wonder who this gift is for.
→これは誰への贈り物？

【解説】
11. Who's going to ～「誰が～をするのか？」。（例）Who's going to tell her the truth?「誰が彼女に本当のことを言うの？」。
12. whose「誰の、誰のもの」。（例）Whose fault was this accident?「この事故は誰のせいだったんだ？」、I'm not sure whose this is.「これが誰のものかわからない」。
13. Who was the last person ～「最後に～したのは誰？」。（例）Who was the last person to watch TV?「最後にテレビを観たのは誰？」。
14. walkには「散歩させる」という意味があります。「Who＋過去形」の例文を二つ。（例）Who did it?「誰がやったんだ？」、Who spilled the beans?「秘密をばらしたのは誰だ？」。
15. I wonderの後の語順に注目who is this gift forではなく、who this gift is forになっています。（例）I wonder who this fax is from.「このファクスは誰からだろう」。

【解説】
16. make a toast「乾杯をする、乾杯の音頭を取る」。ちなみに、「乾杯！」はCheers!と言います。（例）Let's not stand on ceremony tonight. Cheers!「今夜は無礼講で行きましょう。乾杯！」。
17. Whose side are you on?「誰の側についているのか？」で「どっちの味方なんだ？」を表現。（例）I'll always be on your side.「いつだって君の味方だよ」。
18. lastをfirstに代えて、Who was the first person to ～と言えば「最初に～をしたのは誰？」の意味に。set foot on「足を踏み入れる、足跡をしるす」。
19. Who left ～で「～のままにしたのは誰か？」の意味。（例）Who left the half-eaten pizza out on the table?「食べかけのピザをテーブルの上に置きっぱなしにしたのは誰？」。
20. Who are you?のWhoの後にdo you thinkを入れるとyou areの語順になりますので注意しましょう。（例）Who do you think you're fooling? 「馬鹿にするのもいい加減にしろよ」。

Who's going to moderate the debate?
→誰がディベートの司会をするの？
Do you know whose idea this is?
→これは誰の考えか知ってる？
I know who won, but who was the runner-up?
→誰が勝ったのかは知ってるけど、2位は誰だったの？
Who yawned just now?
→今、欠伸をしたのは誰？
I wonder who broke the copy machine.
→誰がコピー機を壊したのかな。
