▷Keep at it.で「頑張ってね」の意味になります。(例) I think I'll buckle down and keep at it.「気合いを入れて、頑張ります」。get discouraged「落ち込む、がっかりする」。
113. A drinking session after work?
▷「飲み会」はdrinking sessionという言い方をします。(例) I'll pass on the drinking session tonight.「今夜の飲み会はパスするよ」。
114. I'm not from around here.
▷not from around hereが「この辺りの出身ではない」に当たる言い回し。(例) The nearest subway station? I'm sorry, I have no idea. I'm not from around here.「最寄りの地下鉄の駅ですか？すみません、わからないんです。この辺りの出身じゃないんで」。
