《今日のFUP：875》人材を求める
「彼らは英語ができる人よりも、コンピュータースキルを持つ人材を求めている」─ They're looking for people with computer skills more than people who can speak English.
「求める」をlook for ～「～を探す」、「コンピュータースキルを持つ人材」をpeople with computer skillsで表現しています。withを使っている点に注目。次のようにも言えます。They're looking more for people with good computer skill sets than with English language skills.
（例）「どの企業も優秀な人材を雇用しようとやっきになっている」─ Every company is hard pressed to find excellent personnel to hire.

「数年後には、コンピューターエンジニアが不足すると言われている」─ They say there won't be enough computer engineers in a few years. / In a few years, they say, there will be a shortage of computer engineers.
「十分でない」─ not enough
「不足」─ shortage
「うちの会社、人材不足で困ってるんだ」─ We're suffering from a personnel shortage.
Extra Bit：「こんなに晴天がつづくと水不足が心配だ」─ If this dry weather keeps up much longer, there could be a water shortage.
